Mission

"To further develop the lives of young community minded professionals in the lakes area through networking and social events."

Goals & Objectives

1) Goal: To meet other young professioanls in the community and to educate and inform one another as to our different businesses and industries. We will meet this goal by attending meetings, socials, events, volunteering, and networking.

2) Goal: To have contacts for referrals. We will meet this goal by establishing a directory of referrals and by networking.

3) Goal: To be a positive presence at the businesses and facilities that we visit. We will meet this goal by maintaining a positive attitude and influencing others to do the same.

4) Goal: To establish a permanent group that will continue to attract new young professionals into the future while socializing with other people within the same age group. We will meet this goal by encouraging potential new members to attend socials and be involved within the business community.

Upcoming Events

The DLYP meets regularly each month. Lunch and Learns for 2011 run from 12-1:00 pm the Second Wednesday of each month and social events run from 5:30 - 7 pm. All meetings are held at various Chamber businesses and/or organizations. The following schedule is tentative and subject to change. Call the Chamber at 218.847.9202 with any questions.
