North Woods Trail Reapers- 2.20.2020

Trail conditions continue to be in excellent condition with a base of around 22 inches. Our trail system received about 4 inches of snow this past Monday. This additional snow allowed us to improve the riders experience on our trails. With the temperatures being in the low 30's for day time highs this weekend and you add in trail current conditions, it's a perfect weekend to get out and ride!

2/18/20   We groomed 400 South to Height of Land Lake, Cotton Lake and onto Wolf Lake. This section is in excellent condition!

2/19/20   We groomed the 200 & 300 loop and onto White Earth Lake and Tulaby Lake. This section was in rough shape after last weekend’s riders enjoyed themselves. We repaired any problem areas and this system is in excellent condition now.

2/20/20   We groomed 400 North to Elbow Lake, Pike Lake and Little Bemidji. This section is in very good shape! It is a little rough when coming off of Little Bemidji Lake going east. The hill going up just off the lake is getting a little icy and the groomer had a tough time getting back up to the trail.

Here is a little safety note: The lakes are in good condition for crossing. The rivers in our area are high and some lakes that have inlets & outlets are opening up more. Please be careful when approaching these sections. Also use caution when crossing our lakes, a rider hit an old plowed road and received some injury's this past weekend.

Trail Safety is Everyone's Responsibility!
